The backup date for the carnival is Wednesday 29th March. If the weather is unpredictable on this date, staff at Flinders Public School will periodically assess the conditions as the day progresses and may facilitate the event later that day. If this is to occur, an e-Alert will be issued to families indicating the start time of the event. Unfortunately, this may mean that some families will no longer be able to attend the event. However, it is imperative that the Cross Country is run as soon as possible to enable the organisation for the district carnival to commence.
I would like to thank the Stage 1 team along with Kristie O'Hara for organising the Cross Country. An event like this does not happen over night and takes weeks of planning.
We thank you for your understanding and can't wait to see the students participate in this event in the not too distant future.
